Founding partners Tim Pappas and the late Patricia DeLaney saw that familiar approaches to executive search often failed to deliver long-term business results that mattered most to clients. Tim and Patricia saw an opening to create a different kind of firm: one that combined proven practices with new approaches that harness the link between culture and business performance.

The mission of Pappas DeLaney was simple: leave clients better off than when you found them. In executive search engagements, that meant doing more than just delivering and vetting high-quality candidates.
