Our Origins
Founding partners Tim Pappas and the late Pat DeLaney saw that familiar approaches to executive search often failed to deliver long-term business results that mattered most to clients. Tim and Pat saw an opening to create a different kind of firm: one that combined proven practices with new approaches that harness the link between culture and business performance.
The mission of Pappas DeLaney was simple: leave clients better off than when you found them. In executive search engagements, that meant doing more than just delivering and vetting high-quality candidates. It meant teaching clients how to "hire to the culture" using our Perfect Candidate™ assessment methodology. That way, clients gained a powerful tool they could leverage across their organization for years to come.

Today, that same commitment to equipping clients for long-term success drives all of our engagements. The firm's leadership team now includes Janet Sanders, a seasoned professional, who shares the belief that effective culture drives effective business performance.
