Janet Sanders

Janet Sanders has spent her professional life working with service organizations, such as banks, computer security, and health care providers in a range of leadership positions.  Starting her career as a Registered Nurse, she moved into nurse management and ultimately into a human resources role for Columbia/St. Mary’s.  As the Director of Human Resources for Columbia/St. Mary’s she worked with the President and CEO to develop a leadership team for the hospital.  She has been responsible for developing practice areas as a Principal Consultant for Siemens and as a Vice President of Healthcare for Sun Tzu Security, a leading computer security company in Milwaukee. 

Most recently she was the First Vice President of Human Resources and Education for Ozaukee Bank working with the CEO on change management and internal coaching for the regional bank based in Cedarburg with a major focus on building organizational capacity, consistency and team work to support a rapidly expanding business model. 

Ms. Sanders’ strength include developing teams that work well; internal coaching for organizational effectiveness; and building systems to optimize the deployment of human capital for the benefit of shareholders.  She is adept in HR strategy, business development, organizational development, executive coaching, talent management and retention, compensation and benefits, and succession planning.  She joins Pappas Delaney as a principal consultant executive search and selection, team development and coaching with an initial focus in health care and service organizations. 

Ms. Sanders’ background includes a Masters of Health Services Administration, from Cardinal Stritch University, and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Lake Superior State University plus training seminars over the course of her career.  When not working, Ms. Sanders’ interests include mission work for the under privileged, and activities that increase personal and financial effectiveness for homeless women.   Ms. Sanders and her family reside in Hartland, Wisconsin.
